Which of these is NOT a primary ingredient of a traditional Cornish Pastry?
Fun Fact: the Cornish Pasty is a protected food item, this has two fun meanings. Firstly, much like Champagne, only a pasty produced in Cornwall and to a specific recipe can be considered a Cornish Pasty, and secondly, there is a document on the Government's website defining what makes a Cornish Pasty a TRUE Cornish Pasty. I unfortunately can't link it here...because it contains the answer! But if you're curious, it has a rather catchy title:
COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No 510/2006 on Protected Geographical Indications and Protected Designations of Origin.“Cornish Pasty”
